Chic-boy was recommended to us by my brother-in-law. Since hubby and I love to eat inihaw (grilled food), this new resto in town just have to be given a try. The name itself is very catchy. It is the combination of the words chicken and baboy (pork). So from the name itself, you'll already know what their specialties are. What makes Chic-boy different from Mang Inasal? They both have inasal (chicken barbecue) in their menu. But Chic-boy is offering something new - something from ... [ Read More ]

Why Kids Love Jollibee
When I was a kid (1980s), I was only aware of McDonald's since every Sunday after mass, my parents would bring me and my sister to McDo Alabang Town Center to play. I really enjoyed going into the tunnel and riding on the mini merry-go-round where you'll be sitting on Ronald's friends. I miss those days and also my childhood friends from Ligaya (a Catholic Charismatic Community where my parents belong for so many years now) who were our playmates.I can't remember playing in a Jollibee play area. ... IMAX for the Southern Peeps
At last, IMAX in the south! It's in SM Southmall in Las Pinas. It opened last July 14 and located in the 3rd level of the newly renovated mall. We haven't tried watching in IMAX Mall of Asia so I'm really excited about this since this new theater is very near our place. Travel time from Molino in Bacoor, Cavite will only be 15-20 minutes. Yipee! And it's even nearer my parent's house. We can hit two birds with one stone! And that's visiting Kelsea's mama and papa and watch 3D. My last 3D ... [ Read More ]

Puzzles, Puzzles, Puzzles
Dora Lenticular Puzzle According to Wikipedia, "Lenticular printing is a technology in which a lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles." I bought Kelsea a Dora lenticular puzzle in Toys R Us - Alabang Town Center (ATC). It has 24pcs with 12inx9in dimension for each puzzle piece. She was so excited to play with it so I taught her at once how to complete a puzzle. At first, she was ... [ Read More ]
Finger Painting
I bought crayons and watercolor for Kelsea a long time ago for her to explore her creative side. She might have the talent since her Ninong Topher (her uncle - hubby's bro) and Ninang Sheila (her aunt - my cousin) are very artistic. Kelsea loves using her crayons on her coloring books while telling me, "Mommy, hindi na lampas o!". On the other hand, the paint brush of her watercolor is hardly used 'coz she uses her fingers to paint (actually more on abstract painting at this age of 2 yrs and 8 ... [ Read More ]
