Mathemagis’ Singapore Math Summer Programs
What's your favorite subject in school? If it's Math, then we're in the same boat! I love Math because there's no need to memorize a lot of terms. You just need a little analyzing of numbers here and there and then voila! You'll be able to solve a problem. And that's the reason why I took up Engineering in college. In grade school, I joined the Math Club. What I remember most about that is when we did an outreach program. We taught younger kids in a public school. I'm not sure if I have the ... [ Read More ]

Finding the Best of Pinoy Artistry in Tiendesitas
Last Sunday, our troop headed to Pasig to check-out one of the unique places to go to in Metro Manila where you can find a variety of products and services in just one place. That's in Tiendesitas. I heard that it is newly renovated so we decided to visit and see the improvements they made. I'm particularly looking forward to visit their Furniture and Handicrafts Village. On a Sunday, it was only a 1-hr travel from Bacoor, Cavite to Pasig with no traffic. We arrived in time for lunch and ... [ Read More ]
Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm
I have a lot of late posts in my to-blog-about folder and this is one of them that I'm sure many would like to know about. If you're on your way to Tagaytay and will be passing Aguinaldo Highway, do drop by the Ilog Maria Honeybee Farm in Brgy. Lalaan 1, Silang, Cavite. The signage above along Aguinaldo Highway can be seen when you're Manila-bound. Good thing we used Waze and Google Maps to find our way. This is the narrow road going to the honeybee farm. You will also pass by some ... [ Read More ]
Have a Dreamy Christmas with Hi-5 House of Dreams in Manila
This week is the last week before Christmas school break starts. But before my kiddo enjoy her vacation, Kelsea is looking forward to her school's Christmas Party and Christmas Musical Presentation. They are required to dress up like Hi-5 and perform in school on the 17th of December. Kelsea's closet doesn't have much yellow and green that's why I needed to buy a top, skirt and the colorful knee-high socks. This is what I came up with: I bought the plain green shirt in a bazaar in ... [ Read More ]

Family Activity: Biking in Filinvest City, Alabang
Our daughter recently learned how to bike (without the training wheels). It is a milestone for her and she's proud of it. We didn't force her to learn how but she wanted to herself. It all started when one her "kababata", Kyle, learned how to bike. After that, I would have afternoon sessions with her on weekdays while morning sessions on weekends with her dad. She was very eager to learn. I'm proud of her for practicing what she wants to do and achieving it :) One weekend, we, together with ... [ Read More ]
