On our way home from Wilcon Alabang branch this morning, hubby and I passed by a big white tent in Filinvest in Muntinlupa City. As we grew closer, we saw this... Sunday Afternoon in San Miguel by the Bay
After going to Manila Zoo and Kinder Zoo which I blogged about here and here, we were all exhausted and hungry so we went to San Miguel by the Bay located at the back of SM Mall of Asia (MOA). You can never miss this place because you will see the big ferris wheel. There is paid parking in this area. You can even come from SM MOA and walk going here using the overpass. We wanted to ride the ferris wheel but it's a bit pricey at Php 150 per head. It was out of our budget so we just admired it ... [ Read More ]
What’s in Manila Zoo’s Kinder Zoo?
This post is a continuation of our family day in Manila Zoo. Kinder Zoo is located at the left side after the main entrance of Manila Zoo. It has a separate entrance fee of Php250 for a package of activities you can do inside. If you won't get the package, each activity costs Php50. Since we have a group voucher good for 15pax from TCAT, we only paid Php104 individually when computed. It was a really a big savings because of the unlimited activities. Here are what kids (and adults as well) can ... [ Read More ]
Family Day in Manila Zoo
Manila Zoo is the oldest zoo in the Philippines located in the Quirino Avenue in the city of Manila (near Roxas Blvd.). It's whole name is Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden. I believe that if you're a resident of Metro Manila, you should have at least once visited Manila Zoo.The last time we went at the zoo was when Kelsea was just turning 2 years old. We came with my parents and my nephew (same age with Kelsea). I know the 2 kids didn't much remember what's in there so when I saw a great ... [ Read More ]
Dear Santa
Do you believe in Santa? I did when I was a kid. I can still remember when my paternal grandfather would dress up as Santa Claus :) We had Christmas stockings that were filled with candies, received lots of gifts and sang Christmas carols. It really is the most wonderful time of the year! Now that Kelsea's turning 4 in a few days, she knows already what to expect on Christmas. And that is gift-giving! We also have a book entitled "A Story of Christmas" which tells us why we give gifts to others ... [ Read More ]
Tony & Jackey’s Hair Blessing Rebond
I have a wavy hair. But as years passed by, those wavy strands became curls...unmanageable curls! So, one of my "me time" is to have my hair rebonded. I have tried hair rebonding from two salons and one home service which I blogged about here. It's the time of the year for a hair rebond and I'm tired of hubby making fun of my "kinky" curls daw lol! On the first week of October, I stumbled upon a great deal from Metrodeal. It was a Hair Blessing Rebond or Digital/Setting Perm and Haircut at Tony & ... [ Read More ]
Guess Who’s Brewing Soon in Daang-Hari Road?
Daang-Hari is a long stretch of road that connects Las Pinas and Muntinlupa to Cavite. Passing by here will let you see a lot of Villar-owned subdivisions (Portofino, etc), an Alveo-owned (Verdana Homes) and other properties from other developers. Little by little, this road is becoming more commercialized. Restaurants are being built. Just this year, McDonald's opened at Pontevia. McDonald's Pontevia Currently, mall construction is also on-going in Pontevia. Pontevia But this caught my ... [ Read More ]
My Pre-Schooler Makes Me Proud
Last week was the first assessment test for Nursery and Kinder in Kelsea's school. Each kid will be paired with a classmate. The pair will take turns on a one-on-one test with the teacher for 30 minutes for three days. I very much appreciated their way of giving their students a test.On a normal school day, hubby would drop our daughter to school while I'm the one in charge of fetching her. But for the three days of assessment test, I accompanied Kelsea to school and waited for her to finish the ... [ Read More ]
