Yes, I'm definitely back! Have you noticed something new on my blog? I love the new design by my favorite Fancy Girl Designs which I won from a blog giveaway of Sweet Memoirs. It has been months since I blogged. I became very busy with work and mommy and wifey duties so I parked my blog for awhile but backstage, this blog has been very busy. That's in terms of transferring to a new home. Hello, Wordpress! Yes, I switched from Blogger to Wordpress as adviced by my fellow work-at-home ... [ Read More ]
My Dream Blog Makeover
Hello dear readers! Maybe you're all wondering why I haven't blogged lately. Miss it much! I have been very busy with my online work so my free time is usually spent with my daughter and hubby. I've been trying my best to squeeze in a post even once a week. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do so until now :) One of the reasons why my blog is currently parked is also because I had it migrated to Wordpress but it is still under maintenance mode that's why this is still in Blogger. There's still ... [ Read More ]
Breastfeeding Pinays: Hakab na! A Breastfeeding Mob
Yes, you read it right. There will be an event called Hakab na! A Breastfeeding Mob here in the Philippines! =) What does hakab and mob mean? Hakab is a Tagalog word which means "clinging tightly to the body" or "tight-fitting". While mob or flash mob according to Wiki is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic ... Sunday Mass in Fernbrook Gardens
Hello to my dear readers! I missed blogging so much but here I am again sharing useful info and at the same time documenting our family activities. If you were a bride or currently preparing for your wedding, you must know Fernbrook Gardens. It is the "South-branch" of Fernwood Gardens (in Quezon City). No, we didn't have our reception here (too expensive for us!). Fernbrook Gardens is located along Daang Reyna Rd. (the road just before the Petron Gas Station along Daang Hari Rd. in somewhat ... Artwork of the Day
Since I've been a little silent recently here in my blog, I've decided to be visible daily thru Kelsea's artwork. My daughter loves to color, draw and nowadays, paint. I don't know (yet) if she'll develop more into a full blown artist or inherit the talents of her Uncle Chris or a tiny bit of her dad's hidden artistic talent. Or mine (LOL!). So everyday, whether you'll like it or not (but I hope you do!), I will be posting her work. This means I'm really proud of it even if it's beautiful ... [ Read More ]
Moms Day in Bag of Beans Tagaytay
Sorry for the silence this summer. My hands are so full right now because of weekend summer outings. I must catch up on my 40hr workweek from Monday to Friday so that I don't have to work (or work less) on weekends to enjoy our summer activities. I have yet to post a lot of our family adventures this summer. We've already had 4 outings and 1 more to go for this summer of 2013. It's actually starting to rain but we've got to make the most of Kelsea's vacation before school starts again in ... [ Read More ]
A Blog Inspired Workshop
Last April 20, 2013, I attended a blog workshop entitled Blog Inspired: Blog With Purpose in Fully Booked Bonifiacio Global City. Behind the success of the workshop were four amazing and truly inspiring mommy bloggers namely, Martine of Dainty Mom, Jayme of Optimommy, Toni of Wifely Steps and Michelle of Beyond the Silver and the Gold. I came with my mommy blogger friends Faye, Sha, Aimee, Peachy, Maggie and Marsy, whom I met early this year (except for Faye). Unfortunately, our "tribe" was ... [ Read More ]
A Trip to Clark [Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Festival 2013] Plus an IMPORTANT LESSON
Going to the 18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is one of those things in my bucket list. So I was thrilled when our plan pushed thru. What's even more favorable for my family was that our tickets were FREE! Thanks to our sponsor :) Our tickets were bought from SM Ticketnet to avoid the crowd and lines in the event site. The night before our chosen date to watch the festival, we had dinner in Max's Restaurant in SM City Clark. It was near Tune Hotels where we ... [ Read More ]
