Easter is coming up soon and I have a long overdue post to share. Before we became a family of 4, our little family of 3 spent Easter in Tagaytay. That was the first time we've tried booking an Airbnb unit in Tagaytay Prime Residences before my sister and her hubby bought a unit. The unit we booked is one of the first Airbnb units in that building. We had a great time staying there because aside from its affordability, the location is very good and the unit itself was very ... [ Read More ]

Mathemagis’ Singapore Math Summer Programs
What's your favorite subject in school? If it's Math, then we're in the same boat! I love Math because there's no need to memorize a lot of terms. You just need a little analyzing of numbers here and there and then voila! You'll be able to solve a problem. And that's the reason why I took up Engineering in college. In grade school, I joined the Math Club. What I remember most about that is when we did an outreach program. We taught younger kids in a public school. I'm not sure if I have the ... [ Read More ]

This week is the last week before Christmas school break starts. But before my kiddo enjoy her vacation, Kelsea is looking forward to her school's Christmas Party and Christmas Musical Presentation. Kelsea's closet doesn't have much yellow and green that's why I needed to buy a top, skirt and the colorful knee-high socks. This is what I came up with: I bought the plain green shirt in a bazaar in ... [ Read More ]

Family Activity: Biking in Filinvest City, Alabang
Our daughter recently learned how to bike (without the training wheels). It is a milestone for her and she's proud of it. We didn't force her to learn how but she wanted to herself. It all started when one her "kababata", Kyle, learned how to bike. After that, I would have afternoon sessions with her on weekdays while morning sessions on weekends with her dad. She was very eager to learn. I'm proud of her for practicing what she wants to do and achieving it :) One weekend, we, together with ... [ Read More ]
Christmas Gift Idea for Kids: Ogalala’s Nature Explorer
Kids are all answer-seekers. They ask a lot of how's and why's. That are mostly the questions my husband and I receive from our 7-year-old daughter Kelsea. They are very much curious about the surroundings and as parents, it is our responsibility to explain and give them answers because we are who they trust. With the help of learning tools nowadays, parents and children can spend time with each other learning about the things around us. Kelsea loves to do experiments with us. She's very ... [ Read More ]
