Have you tried shopping online? If no, you got to try it for its convenience but control yourself or else you’ll have empty pockets, wallets and bank accounts LOL! For those who are “suki” in online shopping, what are your favorite shops?
When looking for good deals, I visit Philippine group buying sites which are very popular nowadays. My favorites are Deal Grocer, Ensogo, Cash Cash Pinoy, Deal Dozen and Groupon. What I usually get from these sites are hair rebonding services, photobooks, food vouchers, kiddie activities and hotel accommodations. I was also able to buy my monopod from one of these sites for a very low price. So far, I’m happy with all my purchases because of its convenience and the significant savings. Just be careful in choosing a product. Make sure that you research first about the supplier because I’ve heard horror stories from friends who were not satisfied with the product/service they bought when they received or experienced it.
I love books and one of my favorite sites to shop is Book Depository because of its wide range of genres and they deliver for FREE anywhere in the world. I just have to wait for 2 to 3 weeks for the books to be delivered at my doorstep. But, Amazon is the more popular one. I’ll try there soon!
The wall decal in our hallway was also bought online from Tmart. But that time, I needed to get the item from the post office. I received a notice from them that the item is ready for pick-up. If you’re going to try this, make sure to know the business schedule of your city post office to save time. Also, be prepared for any tax to be collected from you. I was not required to pay any customs tax which depends on the invoice amount and the type of item claimed.
For travel, I buy our airfare tickets online and not from travel agencies. I get excited when piso fares are up for grabs or any other promos from different airlines. I have fun mock booking and dreaming of my family’s next destination. My go-to airlines for affordable travel are Philippines Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Tiger Asia and Jetstar.
For the musical shows and plays my family was able to watch, I bought our tickets from Ticketnet and Ticketworld. Go check out their sites for upcoming events. To also save seats early in cinemas and not experience the hassle of lining up, Ayala’s sureseats.com is where I purchase cinema tickets. Don’t be surprised with the additional 20-40 pesos web charge for these musical or cinema tickets.
What I haven’t tried yet buying online are clothes for myself. I’m very particular with the right fit of clothes since I’m a little on the curvy side. But if ever I would buy nice and comfy-looking clothes, I want to try buying from Zalora. ZALORA Philippines offers a wide range of products for men, women and kids too. I think their casual attire for women are really chic and sassy 🙂
These are just a few of the online sites I go to for shopping. Thanks to credit cards and Paypal!
Go shop online! But remember, online shopping comes with great responsibility!
