Looking back at my 2012 New Year’s resolution, I’m happy I was able to accomplish most of them.
- I lost a little weight but I think it was due to stress when my parents were confined last September and November. I still eat rice but seldom drink soda already.
- I’ve been driving again for 7 months already since the start of Kelsea’s formal schooling. I came to realize that learning how to drive is very important nowadays in terms of saving time and doing errands for the family.
- We weren’t able to invest in stocks per se but we were able to get a variable life insurance with investment (VUL) and endowment.
- Being a work-at-home mom as a Virtual Assistant for more than a year now is one of the things I’m thankful for because I get to be hands-on with my family. With God’s grace, my online work is still up and clients are coming in.
- When I was still single, my sister laughed at me for trying to cook french fries without cooking oil LOL! But now, I can already cook a few dishes which my hubby has good comments.
- I was able to save (thanks to my online work) and get to enjoy with family our Hong Kong trip last Oct 31-Nov 3.
- Being thankful for God’s blessings, we were able to give back to those in need by donating to victims of typhoons.
- I was hoping to have a lot of Avida property sales last 2012 but having only one is better than none 🙂
For the year 2013, I still want to accomplish my 2012 resolutions that I wasn’t able to do and more of these goals in my list:
- Exercise thru biking (my bike has been parked for a year already!) and hula hoop
- Get into sports again like badminton
- Blog more often. My target is everyday but if not at least 3x a week
- Better eating lifestyle for good health
- More Avida sales (I want to sell more properties because the commission I get from my sales goes to our house improvement, so for those interested to have a home of their own or just want to invest, let me know!)
- Lesser online work hours with higher hourly rate (So I can achieve the 4-hour workweek!)
- Better sales for my online shops, Shopping Spells and Glamma Momma
- House improvement (interior and exterior)
- More quality time with my family – TRAVEL!
- Meet more friends personally (online friends like other mommy bloggers and n@wies)
- Save up so I can put up our own franchise cart because an Ayala mall is being built just outside our village. This means higher property value for us and buying a home here is a right choice.
- I want Kelsea to learn either ballet or swimming.
- Be a more practicing Catholic and do some charity work with our friends as our way of serving the Lord.
May we all have a prosperous 2013 with full of love and lots of blessings from above!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
