One of the hottest topics today among my n@w friends is about the Kasambahay Bill (Congress version, Senate version). This bill is for well-deserving kasambahays (household helps). Agree? I hope the Congress/Senate will weigh the pros and cons and consider also the side of the employers who are sometimes the victim of some stressful yayas (nanny) and helpers.
Speaking of yayas, they’re the ones taking care of the kids of parents who are both or either one of them are working. As working parents, you are wishing and praying that these yayas be angels to your little kids. It would also be best if they are well-trained about child care, first aid, self-development (especially personal hygiene since they are in close contact with the kids) and etiquette (because kids may also see them as role models).
One of the best ways to train them is to give them also the chance and the privilege to attend a workshop made especially for house helps.
Interested to send your yayas and house helps to this workshop? Visit ManilaWorkshops for more info and registration.
