One Friday, my mom wanted me to try the food in one of the new restaurants/cafe in SM Southmall which is Black Canyon Coffee. It’s a Thai restaurant that is proud of their Pad Thai. It’s a little weird for me combining Thai cuisine with coffee.

Unfortunately, I’m still full so I didn’t order any food yet and opt to wait for Mark to arrive from the office. I browsed their coffee menu instead.
Coffee…lots of coffee here! |
It took me around 15-20 minutes to decide what to order. There are so many kinds of coffee to choose from. Since I’m more of a cold coffee drinker, I order their signature Black Canyon Iced Coffee.

It was one of the best iced coffee I’ve tasted. It’s a little milky but their mixture of coffee and milk is just right for me. And it was really iced because there were lots of ice! It also came in a big clear mug. I can’t remember the exact price but their coffee costs around Php110 and above. Here’s also a pic of their coaster:

The restaurant aims to serve healthy food for a healthy life. I’m not really a fan of Thai cuisine so I didn’t take pictures of the food my mom ordered. She enjoyed it though and recommended that Mark and I order the Tamarind Shrimp Tempura. Medyo “nasuya” kami LOL! (We’re not really into Thai cuisine).

Anyway, I like it that all the cups and glasses they use have their name on it. Here are some samples:

I will definitely go back here but only to try their other coffees 🙂 And maybe their Pad Thai na rin!
