I was once a bride 7 years ago and my go-to site was WeddingsAtWork where I found almost everything I need to prepare for my groom and I’s dream wedding such as wedding requirements, wedding suppliers and stories of real weddings to name a few. What made it more enjoyable was being a w@wie wherein I get to interact online with fellow brides.
After graduating from w@w, I immediately became a member of NewlywedsAtWork and became a n@wie. This is a support group on marriage, parenting, family and a lot more. We discuss anything under the sun and I consider this group as the greatest search engine (next to Google) lol! What I love most about this sisterhood is that I was able to build friendships, gave my daughter an opportunity to meet new friends thru our playdates and extend a helping hand the best way that I can thru the group’s charity projects.
Behind W@W and N@W are the founders Benz and Abet Rana. And guess what? They have been helping Filipino couples plan their weddings for 15 years! Wow! What an achievement! I would like to congratulate the two of you for being our “mimma” and “didda” who not only brought dreams into reality but also the firestarters in finding long-lasting friendships 🙂
In just a few words, the picture on the right is what W@W and N@W means to me. Happy 15th Anniversary to W@W!
Trivia: When Mark and I were preparing for our wedding doing DIY stuff, we loved playing Scrabble during rest time which inspired me when I created this image 🙂
